Tennis Final Offers League Rematch

Heather Willens, who led Palisades to the City 4-A girls’ tennis title Dec. 1, will go for the individual championship today at 1:30 against Andrea Lieberman of University High of Los Angeles at the Racquet Centre in North Hollywood. Willens won the two times they played during Western League action.

University also will be involved in the doubles final, with Michelle Herman and Jennifer Spears taking on Stacy Kolker and Gabriella Knizek of North Hollywood Grant.

Also at 1:30, third-place matches will be held in both divisions. Sonja Panajotovic of L.A. Hamilton meets Julie Oshiro of Gardena in singles, and Jill Berger and Holly Levin from Palisades face Diane Schwartz and Jennifer Norian, also of Palisades, in doubles.
