Californian Selected to Lead NAIOP

Richard M. Cannon, president of Watson Land Co., Carson, has been elected 1988 president of the National Assn. of Industrial and Office Parks.
Richard M. Ortwein of the Koll Co., Newport Beach, has been elected vice president for chapter administration of the 66-chapter international organization.
The organization named Brandon R. Birtcher of Birtcher, Laguna Niguel, to its board of directors. Jerry Engles of Devcon Construction Inc., Milpitas, Calif., has also been named a director.
The Arlington, Va.-based nonprofit organization represents more than 6,000 professionals involved with developing, master planning, designing, constructing, financing and managing office parks and industrial parks.
