2 Quakes Hit South Iran

NICOSIA, Cyprus — Two earthquakes measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale shook southern Iran overnight, the Iranian news agency IRNA said Saturday. There was no information on casualties or the extent of damage in the remote, mountainous area, the news agency, monitored in Nicosia, said.
