Lucky Stores stockholders soundly rejected a proposal intended to repeal the limited voting rights provision included in the company’s certificate of incorporation. The special meeting was called following a March agreement with Asher B. Edelman and a group affiliated with him that resulted in, among other things, the dismissal of litigation brought by the Edelman Group to enjoin the firm’s reincorporation in Delaware in December, 1986.
