Jurgen Hingsen, West German decathlete and silver medalist at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, is under investigation for purchases of cocaine.
Hingsen and Rolf Milser, an Olympic weightlifting champion, are suspected of buying cocaine on several occasions from two drug smugglers arrested in Essen in July.
