Director Federico Fellini asked a Paris court Tuesday to ban further screenings of the dubbed version of his latest film “Intervista,” complaining the French dubbing was vulgar and had “massacred the nuances of the film.” A suit filed for Fellini by his lawyer, Jean-Francois Sampieri, names the French company responsible for dubbing and subtitling the film, AMLF. Fellini has demanded an award of $18,500 for every day the film remains off the screens. A summary judgment is expected later this week.
