Raymond C. Dexter; Department Store Interior Designer
Raymond C. Dexter, 87, designer and vice president for the Bullock’s and I. Magnin department store chain. He began with Bullock’s as a messenger in 1915 and on his retirement in the late 1960s had designed the interiors of the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, Palm Springs, Westwood and Santa Ana buildings as well as the Magnin stores.
