CS Long Beach Travels to Utah State

LOGAN, Utah — Cal State Long Beach will face a hot Utah State team in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. basketball game tonight.
The Aggies, 7-4 overall and 2-0 in the PCAA, will be back home after sweeping a two-game league trip for the first time in seven years. They beat University of the Pacific, 78-71, and Fresno State, 90-68.
In Monday night’s victory at Fresno, guard Reid Newey, who is averaging 14.6 points a game, scored 23 points and made 6 of 7 three-point shots.
Morlon Wiley has scored 110 points in his last four games for the 49ers, who are 7-4 and 1-1 after losing to Nevada Las Vegas, 71-68, Monday night.
