College Basketball : Cal Baptist Edges SCC on 3-Point Shot

Tony Smith made a three-point basket with two seconds left to give California Baptist an 80-77 victory over Southern California College Tuesday night in a Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball game at Cal Baptist. Smith finished with 17 points.
John Mounce led SCC with 13 points.
In other conference play:
Fresno Pacific 85, Christ College Irvine 61--Brian Falls scored a game-high 22 points as Fresno Pacific won the conference opener at home. Mike Thompson led Christ College Irvine (7-8) with 20 points.
