La Jolla Bancorp reported that net income rose by 21% to $566,000 for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1987, up from $466,000 during the previous fourth quarter. Net income for the year ended Dec. 31 rose by 30% to $2.2 million, up from $1.7 million in 1986.
Assets remained stable at $333 million and deposits fell slightly to $304 million, down from $306 million in 1986. Total loans rose by 4.3% to $208 million, up from $200 million in 1986.
