THE COLLEGES : Orange Coast’s Jarrett to Attend Cal Poly SLO

Keith Jarrett of Orange Coast College has signed a national letter of intent to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, OCC announced Wednesday.
Jarrett, a quarterback, will be reunited with Coach Lyle Setencich, who was at Boise State in 1986 with Jarrett. Setencich was fired at the end of the season and took over at San Luis Obispo last season.
Jarrett transferred to OCC for the 1987 season after he lost his starting job. He completed 173 of 296 passes for 2,524 yards with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for OCC, setting Orange County records for his yardage and touchdown totals.
Chris Theodore, an inside linebacker from OCC, signed with Sonoma State, the college also announced.
