Nagelmann to Play Football at CLU

Dan Nagelmann, a sophomore quarterback who played for Moorpark College, has accepted a partial football scholarship to attend Cal Lutheran, Kingsmen Coach Bob Shoup said Wednesday.

Nagelmann (5-11, 185 pounds), who attended Thousand Oaks High, led Moorpark to a 7-2 record as the starting quarterback last season.

He will begin attending classes at CLU on Monday and will participate in spring football workouts beginning in April.

“He’s not a strong-armed quarterback,” Shoup said, “but he has a good array of deliveries.”
