The University of California, San Diego has chosen two architectural firms--Stone, Marraccini & Patterson, and Delawie/Bretton/Wilkes Associates, San Diego--to program, plan and design a 120-bed satellite medical facility and master plan the university’s 40-acre medical campus in La Jolla.
Stone, Marraccini & Patterson, a 140-person firm with offices in San Francisco and St. Louis, specializes in the design of health care and research facilities.
The 200,000-square-foot satellite facility will augment the teaching capabilities and resources of the nearby UCSD School of Medicine.
