Giorgio Lamberti of Italy set a world-best time in the 200-meter freestyle at an international swim meet in Bonn, West Germany.
Lamberti was clocked in 1 minute 43.95 seconds, his second world-best time in two days. He was timed in a record 3:41.74 in the 400 meters Saturday.
Pablo Morales of the United States won the 50-meter butterfly in a world best 24.25 seconds.
