Anaheim police identified a suspect Thursday who was arrested after he barricaded himself inside a residence for more than six hours.
Mohammad Mahoud Bachir, 29, was taken into custody about 11 p.m. Wednesday after police negotiators coaxed the suspect into surrendering, a police spokesman said.
No weapon was found on Bachir or at his residence in the 2400 block of Random Drive.
Police said Bachir allegedly threatened someone with a knife at the residence about 4:45 p.m. A police SWAT team surrounded the house after the suspect refused to come out.
Bachir was taken to County Jail. Bail was set at $10,000.
