LONDON — It was one of those days for the Daily Telegraph.
The masthead of Wednesday’s editions of the newspaper mistakenly said it was Thursday, and it reportedly caused havoc throughout the land.
The Telegraph reported on Thursday’s front page that one reader complained he had traveled to Birmingham a day too soon after being misled by Wednesday’s paper.
Someone else went to the dentist a day early, and some elderly readers went to post offices to collect pensions that normally arrive on Thursday.
