WASHINGTON — Sales of existing homes fell 3.6% in January, the third consecutive monthly decline, the National Assn. of Realtors said today. Sales of existing single-family homes fell to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.21 million units last month, the slowest sales pace since June, 1985.
