San Diego County sheriff’s officers are investigating the death of a woman whose partly decomposed body was found Wednesday near Rancho Bernardo.
The nude body of the unidentified woman was discovered shortly before noon by a worker who was clearing brush about a quarter of a mile west of Rancho Bernardo Road, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was described as between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet tall and slight of build, with brown hair.
Authorities estimated she had been dead about a week.
