Donald R. Frahm has been named chairman and chief executive of Hartford Fire Insurance Co., succeeding DeRoy C. Thomas. Thomas was named president and chief operating officer of ITT Corp., the parent company of Hartford. Frahm, 56, had been president and chief operating officer of the insurance company’s property-casualty operations.
