ABC News next month will air a one-hour prime-time “cultural news” special, a spokeswoman said Wednesday. She had no additional details on the still-untitled show, which ABC staffers have nicknamed “Omnibus.” ABC couldn’t use that title, though. CBS owns it, having produced the famed “Omnibus” cultural series in the ‘50s. ABC sources said the new program will have an approach similar to the CBS series and will include reports on music, art and theater.
