Police staged dawn raids in Belfast’s Roman Catholic neighborhoods, arresting 13 Irish Republican Army supporters suspected of involvement in the mob slayings of two British army soldiers at an IRA funeral. Police sources said one of the suspects arrested in the March 19 killings, Terence Clarke, is believed to be a member of the ruling, seven-member war council of the IRA, which is fighting to end British rule in mostly Protestant Northern Ireland.
