Stanley Wilson, twice suspended and five times treated for using cocaine, has been given another chance by the National Football League.
Commissioner Pete Rozelle reinstated the Cincinnati Bengals running back, who was suspended by the league for drug abuse for the entire 1987 season after being out from November 1984 through May 1986.
Wilson, 26, gained 379 yards and scored 8 touchdowns in 1986. He played at the University of Oklahoma and Banning High School in Wilmington.
