A Burbank man has been identified by the Washoe County, Nev., sheriff’s office as one of two men who drowned in Lake Tahoe during stormy weather.
David L. Widle, 39, of Incline Village, Nev., and his father, Harold A. Widle, 67, of Burbank were fishing when their boat tipped over near Sand Harbor. A sheriff’s spokesman said there were life preservers in the boat but that the men did not wear them. The bodies were recovered Monday.
