Aloha Airlines bought two new Boeing 737-300 airliners, valued at $60 million, including spare parts and one spare engine. On April 28, a 19-year-old Aloha 737 with 95 people aboard landed safely after a portion of the fuselage tore loose. One person, a flight attendant, died in the accident.
