Reagan Discusses American Indians

“Maybe we should not have humored them (the Indians). . . .”
I have spent 32 years teaching the way of our people and in one sentence of total ignorance Reagan lies and distorts the truth. Surely arrogance and ignorance are indictable, indeed impeachable offenses.
Next he’ll tell us African slaves came of their own free will on a “love boat.”
We’ve had 16 years of this ignorance and it has always been smoothed over by his staff--but not in my classrooms!
Move over Presidents Harding and Grant, there’s room at the bottom.
