Tax Claim Help for Elderly, Low-Income Families

DUARTE — Elderly and low-income homeowners and renters who are eligible for tax credits can get free help in filing claims with the state. The assistance is being offered from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Duarte Senior Center, 1634 E. 3rd St.
Volunteers have been trained in claim form preparation by the state Franchise Tax Board.
