Irvine-based Restaurant Enterprises Group has signed its first management contract to provide food services.

The agreement is with Michael’s Supper Club, a new restaurant that plans to open in late August in Dana Point Harbor.

Michael’s--the former location of the now-defunct Crown Point restaurant--includes a Reuben’s, which is owned by Restaurant Enterprises. Under the agreement, Reuben’s will provide food for the entire club and Restaurant Enterprises will manage Reuben’s and Michael’s Supper Club.

Michael’s Supper Club is owned by Michael Zanetis, a county restaurateur.

Restaurant Enterprises owns about 45 Reuben’s restaurants, besides the Charley Brown’s, Baxter’s, Cocos and Reuben E. Lee chains, among others.
