Peter Clark, a 30-year Walt Disney Co. veteran, has been named to the new position of senior vice president of participant affairs for Walt Disney Attractions, Anaheim. Clark, who has served as vice president of participant affairs since 1979, is responsible for the marketing and administration of corporate participant programs, including corporate sponsorship and lessee arrangements for attractions, merchandise and food-service locations at Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland. Clark joined Disneyland’s group sales area in 1957, two years after the park opened. In 1959, he moved to the leasee relations division, becoming manager in 1961. He later was named director of national sales for Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and then director of participant affairs.
