You have not seen the state of Hawaii until you have visited the outer islands, and you have not seen Maui until you’ve had it shown to you by Nelson Waikiki at the helm of a Gray Line Tour bus. He not only knows the territory, but serenades you vocally as he acquaints you with it.
When Nelson stops the bus for you to take pictures, he will pick up his ukulele and accompany himself, much to the delight of those fortunate enough to have drawn him as a guide. He has appeared professionally at some of the resort hotels, but he has steadfastly refused offers to perform on the Mainland, saying he would much rather drive a bus on Maui.
