Allied-Signal Aerospace Co. said it has agreed to sell its Ocean Defense Corp. of Sylmar to Thomson-CSF of France. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Ocean Defense, which has annual sales of about $100 million, produces helicopter dipping sonar and other anti-submarine warfare equipment. Torrance-based Allied-Signal Aerospace announced last March that the subsidiary was one of three units it planned to divest.
