Cal Lutheran Hires 2 Baseball Assistants

Former UCLA infielder Lindsay Meggs and former Oxnard College pitcher Dave Taylor will be hired as assistant baseball coaches at Cal Lutheran, pending administration approval.
Meggs, 26, will be the Kingsmen hitting coach. He played in the Kansas City Royals organization and was an assistant last season at De Anza College in Cupertino, which led the state with a .381 team batting average.
Taylor, 25, played in the Milwaukee Brewers chain and will be the CLU pitching coach.
Cal Lutheran finished 21-23 last season, 16-14 in District 3 of the National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics.
