Chlorine Leak at City Pool Requires 34 to Be Treated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Thirty-four people, mostly children, were taken to hospitals Wednesday after an excessive amount of chlorine was accidentally injected into a city swimming pool, officials said. Seven of the swimmers were hospitalized for observation but none was believed to have suffered life-threatening injury from the incident, hospital officials said.
