2nd Amendment: ‘History Lesson’

Thank you for printing the Second Amendment in its entirety.
What the National Rifle Assn. sees as a right to “Saturday-night specials” and ownership of bazookas and Uzis is beyond me!
I’d love to read some reply from the NRA on that simple but very clear and complete “right.”
By the way, the other reasons for not having a standing army were:
1. Past experience with unlawful billeting of troops in homes.
2. Unlawful seizure of men from private life into forced military service.
