Lawrence M. Nagin has been named to the newly created position of senior vice president-corporate and external affairs for United Airlines, Chicago. Nagin previously was senior vice president-administration and general counsel at the Flying Tiger Line, the air freight subsidiary of Tiger International, which has headquarters in Los Angeles.
