Northridge’s Wright Signs With CFL Team

Keith Wright, Cal State Northridge’s top receiver last season, has signed a contract with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.
Wright was declared academically ineligible this season. He earned All-Western Football Conference honors last season for CSUN, catching 26 passes for 478 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Rod Benjamin, a three-time all-conference cornerback who last played for Northridge in 1985, is a defensive starter for the Eskimos. Edmonton is the defending CFL champion.
