American Ecology to Sell Subsidiary for $10 Million

American Ecology Corp. in Agoura Hills said it has reached a tentative agreement to sell its National Ecology subsidiary for $10 million in cash. The buyer was not disclosed.
National Ecology is a recycling and waste-conversion firm that operates a waste-processing plant in Baltimore County, Md., and is about to begin operating another plant in West Palm Beach, Fla.
American Ecology is a waste-management company.
