Vice President Nominee Quayle

Why doesn’t the Republican Committee monitor more carefully the speeches of its vice presidential candidate?
Incorrect grammar, convoluted and unfinished sentences, and the repetition of gratuitous scientific words and initials leave the listener (and seemingly Quayle himself) at loss as to what he is trying to convey.
If, by mischance, George Bush is elected to the presidency, we must all pray he remain alive and in good health for at least the next four years.
