A Goodwill worker was killed Monday when an agency truck backed over him, crushing his head, police said.
The man apparently slipped and fell under the truck’s rear tires, police said, although they asked that anyone who saw the accident call 531-2205 with information.
Goodwill employees were picking up donated goods in the 6100 block of Montezuma Road, police said. The man had been directing traffic near the back of the truck when he apparently slipped and the truck then backed up, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were withholding the victim’s name until his family was notified.
