Residence Inn to Serve Irvine Center

Construction is under way on Residence Inn, a $10-million residential hotel for business travelers, relocating employees and extended-stay visitors in the Irvine Co.’s Irvine Spectrum business center.
The two-story, 112-unit project, a subsidiary of Marriott Corp., will be the first hotel to serve the 2,600-acre business center when completed next summer at Alton Parkway and Studebaker and Morgan streets.
