Community College Roundup : Orange Coast Rolls in Water Polo

Tony Litwak scored seven goals, as Orange Coast College defeated Rancho Santiago, 19-13, in an Orange Empire Conference water polo match Friday at Rancho Santiago.

Medesto Sanchez scored five goals for Orange Coast (9-1, 4-0).

In another Orange Empire Conference water polo match:

Cypress 15, Grossmont 9--Daral Alexander, Todd Banhidy and Dave Cameron scored three goals each to lead Cypress (5-7, 1-3) at home. Grossmont is 3-7, 1-2.

In South Coast Confernce water polo:

Golden West 22, Fullerton 4--Andy Parazette scored five goals to lead host Golden West in the conference opener for both teams. Pono Faulkner, Matt Norton and Goland Levy scored two goals each for Golden West (14-1, 1-0).

In nonconference women’s soccer:

Golden West 2, Long Beach 2--Rhonda Robinson scored two first-half goals for host Golden West (2-2-4). Alicia East had six saves also for Golden West.

In nonconference women’s volleyball:

Fullerton 3, MiraCosta 0--Sue Guest had 12 kills and 2 service aces at Fullerton (4-1).
