“I Claim Myself: The Sagon Penn Incident,” a 30-minute video documentary about the trial and events surrounding the Sagon Penn case, will be screened tonight (9:15 p.m.) at the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art. “I Claim Myself,” produced by San Diegans Bill Scott and Charles Landon, is a narration-free, “natural sound” chronicle of the incident, from the summer night in 1985 when Penn shot and killed a San Diego police officer, wounded another and shot a civilian ride-along, to the the two trials that acquitted Penn of murder and manslaughter charges. The video also is being shown at 5:30 p.m. today, and at the same time every Wednesday through October, on Cox Cable Channel 24.
