Bentsen-Quayle Debate on TV, Radio

Live television coverage of the debate between vice presidential candidates Sen. Lloyd Bentsen (D-Tex.) and Sen. Dan Quayle (R-Ind.) will get under way at 5:30 p.m. today on CBS, NBC, ABC and KCET Channel 28.
Cable News Network and C-SPAN also will have live coverage of the 90-minute debate from the Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Neb.
It can be seen in taped telecasts airing at 8:30 p.m. on KMEX Channel 34 (in Spanish), 10:10 p.m. on KPBS Channel 15 (San Diego) and 11:30 p.m. on KTTV Channel 11. C-SPAN will repeat the debate at 9 p.m., 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.
In addition, CBS and NBC will offer late-night analyses of the event at 11:30 p.m.
On radio, live coverage is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on KCRW-FM (89.9), KFI (640), KFWB (980), KNX (1070) and KPCC-FM (89.3).
