Moderate Price Marriotts Open

Two new Courtyards, the Marriott’s moderately priced hotel chain, are opening this month--the Palm Springs Courtyard opened this weekend at 1300 Tahquitz Way, and the Torrance Courtyard at 2633 Sepulveda Blvd. opening on Saturday.
The 149-room Palm Springs hotel and the 137-room Torrance facility, valued at about $10 million each, follow the design format of other Courtyard by Marriott hotels that stress the contemporary residence look.
Four additional Courtyard hotels currently are open.
