New World Entertainment has sold a portion of its Lion’s Gate Studios to AME Inc., a Burbank sound and video post-production company, for less than $3 million. New World, a Los Angeles entertainment company that has been restructuring to reduce its debt, sold the Lion’s Gate name and a sound studio to AME but is keeping office space at the West Los Angeles studio.
