Interco Inc.’s second-quarter profit slipped 9% from last year to $34.9 million. Sales totaled $630 million, up 3%. The St. Louis manufacturer of furniture and apparel said the results were restated to reflect the decision to restructure and put its apparel manufacturing group up for sale following a $2.5-billion hostile tender offer from the Rales brothers of Washington.
