Vice Presidential Candidates Bentsen and Quayle Debate

Thank God, Quayle is “no Jack Kennedy.” I’m glad Quayle has the experience that Kennedy had in Congress and in the Senate, but I’m so glad he is not like Kennedy. Kennedy wouldn’t even get nominated these days. He would have been eliminated just as Gary Hart was and maybe for about the same reasons.
