Vice Presidential Candidates Bentsen and Quayle Debate

Hooray for Bentsen!
When he chastised Quayle for using Kennedy’s name he did what I have long wanted to do. As a so-called “liberal Democrat” I am sick and tired of that conservative trio of Reagan, Bush and Quayle using the names of our great Democratic Presidents to enhance their own public image. If they want to continually compare their merits with past Presidents like Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman and Kennedy perhaps they should change party affiliation!
What’s the matter, Dan, doesn’t the Republican Party have any heroes you can compare yourself with?
