Three more people have been arrested in connection with a multimillion-dollar Van Nuys bookmaking operation after surrendering to Los Angeles police, authorities said.
Roger Cory, 31, of Leona Valley; Edward Rosenberg, 24, of Santa Monica; and Keith Jones, 32, of Lancaster were arrested this week in connection with the bookmaking operation that investigators said handled as much as $500,000 a week in bets, Officer Jim Friedman said.
The three men surrendered less than a week after police arrested Michael Richardson, 35, of Los Angeles on Oct. 6 on suspicion of bookmaking at an apartment in the 7400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys.
All four men have been released from the Van Nuys Jail after posting $500 bail each, authorities said.
Cory and Rosenberg surrendered on Thursday while Jones surrendered on Wednesday, he said.
No other arrests are expected, he said.
