Shots Injure Two Teens in Southeast San Diego

Two gunmen wounded two Southeast San Diego teen-agers Friday night when they shot into a group of youths gathered at 39th and Teak streets.
San Diego Police Sgt. Bill Edwards said the two gunmen approached the group on foot, fired at them, then ran north on 39th. A few moments later, the sound of a car taking off at high speed was heard.
Injured and hospitalized were Alah McGowan, 16, who was shot in the left arm, and Charles Titus, 19, wounded in the right leg.
