Here are two more votes for Proposition 103 or any combination of provisions that will break the greedy clutches of the oligopolistic insurance industry.
My wife and I have accumulated close to 70 years of good driving. We received three moving violations between us in all those years. The last violation occurred in the early ‘70s when I crossed a double-double yellow line entering a shopping center.
Upon inquiring about a safe-driving reduction in premiums, the industry’s perennial retort has been, “Count yourself lucky you did not get a rate increase.” Indeed, could anyone be more lucky?
